47th biennial convention 2023, San Antonio, Texas
في الحادي عشر من شهر تشرين الثاني ابتدأت فعاليات المؤتمر السابع والاربعين في مدينة سان انتونيو، واللذي يقام كل عامين لاختيار رئيس لمنظمة سيجما العالمية للتمريض، واختيار باقي الاعضاء الدوليين الممثليين لمناطقهم، وكعادة الفرع الاردني وحضوره الدائم اجتماعات منظمة سيجما، تم تمثيله في هذا العام من قبل السيد فراس شاهين، وتم الاجتماع مع مختلف الافرع في الوطن العربي وممثليهم والتواصل للعمل على تطوير الافرع في المنطقة العربية، وكما قد تم اختيار د. وفاء بن علي من فرع الفا بيتا سيجما في المملكة العربية السعودية، كممثل ومنسقة عن منطقة الشرق الاوسط.

وكان ممثلاً للفرع الاردني "ساي كابا" كلاً من:

Three abstracts accepted in Sigma main events
Proud of our members for accepting their work to be presented in the 47th biennial convention in San Antonio, Texas and in Sigma 34th International Nursing Research Congress in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- [x] Feras Shaheen: Oral presentation in title of: “Interactive educational program improved Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices about Chronic Kidney Disease prevention and Screening”. Biennial convention, San Antonio, Texas.
- [x] Ohood Shunnar: Poster presentation in title of: “Professional Development and Willingness to Learn: A Cross-Sectional Correlation Study”. INRC, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- [x] Rabia Haddad: Rising star poster presentation in title of: “Prevalence of depressive symptoms among coronary artery disease patients after ten days of percutaneous coronary interventions”. INRC, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

A Workshop for Undergraduate Students at The School of Nursing

Psi Kappa Chapter in contract with Alumni Affairs at the School of Nursing, The University of Jordan. Professor Maysoon as a speaker in this workshop, which was held to empower newly graduated nursing school students to enrich their experience in how to write a professional resume, how to be prepared for job interviews, and how to communicate and to work within a group.
